WHO WE ARE

Our Ethos

The Lovelace Foundation is dedicated to empowering deprived children and youth through educational and health programmes in all regions of Ghana. We achieve this by working in partnership with local communities in all ten regions of Ghana, focusing on the most remote and underprivileged areas within these provinces. Established in 2012 as a non-governmental organization (NGO), The Lovelace Foundation is dedicated to the unconditional help of underprivileged children in Ghana.

Our Motto

Education is the foundation of our society.
The Ghanaian translation in the Akan dialect is ‘Nwomasua ye ekuo nyinara fapem’

Our Cause

A facilitator to deliver education in all regions of Ghana to promote increased prosperity, opportunities and wellbeing to empower underprivileged children so they can realise their potential.

Our mission is to transform underprivileged settlements into cohesive, self-determining communities with a vision and a strategy for their future. We plant the seed for future growth by giving children the gift of education.

Our Approach

The Lovelace Foundation takes a holistic approach to its work, focusing on not only the delivery of programmes within communities but also by recognising and fostering the environments in which they are deployed.

Our Activities

Our activities range from construction of educational facilities to providing basic education, deploying basic healthcare programmes targeting communities.

Our Staff

Our staff are experts in their field and bring with them enthusiasm to identify where our services would benefit the community the most. Our practical hands-on strategy allows for real time evaluation of the progress of our projects, the key milestones to be reached and which remedial actions need to be taken in case of slippage.

Our Office

Our office in Ghana, located in Tema, serves as a base for our humanitarian and community development activities. Our staff are deployed from here in the most effective and cost efficient way to achieve our aims.
